International Coastal Cleanup National Coordinator Commodore Geronimo P Reyes PCGA was recognized during the Office of the President National Coast Watch Council's 4th Founding Anniversary last September 24, 2015 at the Malacañan Palace Museum for his valuable contribution in promoting marine environmental protection.
The Executive Director of National Coast Watch Council Secretariat, Undersecretary Jose Luis M. Alano presented the award to Commodore Reyes. Commodore Joel S Garcia PCG, Chairman of the Technical Working Group-Concept of Operations and PNP Chief Superintendent Efren Perez gave their warmest congratulations to Commodore Reyes.
Commodore Reyes PCGA was accompanied by International Commodore Jun Avecilla of the International Yachting Fellowship of Rotarians (IYFR) and his team from the Lighthouse Marina Resort Legacy Foundation Zedrik Avecilla and Jozen Curva, marketing arm and co-partner for ICC Philippines.
Their efforts for the campaign for trash-free seas continues to create a sea of change and they took the opportunity to premiere the official ICC 2nd Environmental Summit video during the occasion.
Furthermore, plans are underway as a result from their successful collaboration in several activities for the ICC.
